ASSOCIATION.
J. The third! annual .meeting of the Excelsior ■ Club was held on Friday last, a large number of members being present. The following officers were.elected:—President, Dr Walker-vice-presidents, Messrs D. A. Sturrock J. Johnston, H. Patchett, A R. Thomson, and W. Collie: hon sec-retary.-and treasurer, Mr W. Thomson ; senior delegates, Messrs W. Spittal and W. Penny; junior delegates, Messrs H. Homes and W. Fergusonthirds delegate, Mr S. Hooson; captains, senior, S. Hooson; junior W Thomson; thirds, N. Day; Wednesl day, W. annctal. A committee composed of Messrs S. Hooson,,W. Thomson, N. Day, W. Spittal, and W; Penny were elected to control the affairs of the club. It was. decided tfiau the club colors this season be all white. i
The game appears to be making good progress this season, and it is understocd that two senior.clubs are coming over at - Easter to - play matches, viz., Wellington Swifts and .Fetone. A general practice has been arranged for Saturday afternoon next x and all players' or intending players - are requested to be in attendance at the .Domain.
