The B*in. Robert McNab has written to Gore Liberals, stating that he is unable >to make ' arrangements to allow him to contest the Mataura seat at tho forthcoming election. Mr "W. H. Field states' t2sat the announcement that he would contest the coming election as a "Reform" candidate was unauthorised by him. Mr Field says he will, in £ood time, inform the electors what his political -intentions are.

Mr Parker McKinlay, of Benhar, will oppose the Minister for Education (Hon. James Allen) for the Bruce seat. He will be the Liberal candidate.
