BLENHEIM PAIR SUCCESSFUL
Bowling enthusiasts engaged in their favorite pastime under admirable conditions on the Riversdale green yesterday afternoon. • General interest was evinced in the final for the Adams Cup competition, and in defeating the Riversdale representatives (G. McKay and P. Hadfield) J Bimt T. Halligan, the elect of the Blenheim Cluby earned the title or champion pair of'• tfhe district for the 1913-4 season. % Riversdale were successful in. a tworink contest with Picton for the Junior Pennant, the winning club be^ ing mentioned first in the following S? ul&:i- Woolley ( s>-n> Peaked) 23; H. Henderson (s) 27, Allport (s) 13.
_ .Playing on the Blenlaeim green R. M. Haiding and W. H. West; were unsuccessful in their challenge match for the Grady Stars, being defeated by C. F. A. Whiteford and J. M. Hanrdin by 17 to 15.
