STATEMENT BY THE ORGANISER.

Wherever (the Social Democrats have 500 due-pay-ing members it will have candidates >f their own, as they did in Grey and n Lyttelton. Where they do not lave 500 members, the members of . she party will support that one of all Dther candidates who shall pledge .the largest support to our platform, but in no case will it countenance or support a Labor candidate unless selects ed by the 500 Social Democrats as above."
