Atrocious weather prevailed in the - afternoon. There were 434 applications from 138 applicants for the twelve sections offered, and 80 applicants were Kaikoura people, the * majority of the remainder coming;from North Canterbury and; North Marlborough. \ ■■• £ number of applications, totalling - Id 9 were rejected, the Board sitting all day.
