Entries for other events close at the grounds on the day of the sports. 3. Acceptances close at 9 p.m. on the 10th March, 19il. 4. All events will be conducted under the rules of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Union. , r 5. Winning competitors may, if preferable, take trophies in lieu of cash. 6. Aijy race may be run off in heats at the discretion of the committee. When an event is contested in more than- two1 preliminary heats, the -first, and second in each heat shall run in the final. If". only two heats, the ,first, second, and third in each shall run in the final. 7. All events of 150 yards and less will be fun off in tapes.
