The newspapers, commenting on successive disasters amongs.t the A. Class, consider that the frail hulls are unfitted evein for the elementary duties recently assigned—namely, exercising within easy "reach of .the shore. The Admiralty is urged to supersede them forthwith. * The search for the submarine was resumed at daylight; -hut the depth forbade, the opening of the conning tower, as th© inrush of' water would be disastrous.
