Mr Hoy, general manager for railways, has telegraphed to the disaffected centres stating that it must be distinctly understood that re-em-ployed strikers or "i/heir wives will not be allowed to -use opprobrious terms or to intimidate the loyal worker®. ■The penalty will be the men's dismissal. The reason for this is that, ionly 10 per cent, of the whole staff lias been striking. . A Labor legislator named Cresswell lias been arrested;
