HOCKEYITES AT SOCCER.
In a friendly match against a local senior team yesterday afternoon, Wairau Hockey Club were successful- by 4 goals to 1. F. C. Ferry (2>. and Kidson (2) shot the goals for the winners) while a member of the hockey club team was also responsible for the losers' goal.
