WEEKLY SALE.

Griffiths and Son report a large a,ttendance at their weekly sale' on Saturday afternoon. A line of young heifers were sold at £4 11s each. Pigs, of which there was a good penning, easily maintained their prices, and each lot was eagerly sought after. Pxioes ranged from 16s 6d to 20s for weaners, a line of well-bred' small ones fetching the latter figucre. Fowls were again a laxge order, 20 pens being sold at the following prices:— Black Orpingtons 3s 9d, White Leghorns 4s to 6s, mixed hens 2s ,7d to 3s M, young cockerels 2s 6d to 2s 9d,-< cock birds 4s 5 turkeys 13s to 14s, trussed poultry 4s; all at pcr1 pair.' Pig meal brought 8s 6d, potatoes 8s 6d to 9s, peas 12s, onions £1 11s 8dl; all at per sack. Amongst other lines sold were bicycle £5 10s, dinner service 27s 6d.
