— ♦ — Captain V. A. Kelsall, staff officer of Senior Cadets in Christchurch, has been transferred to Palmerston North, to take up the position of adjutant of the 6th Mounted Rifles. The Hon. ,W. Earnshaw is the, "baby" of the four nominees representing pakehas just appointed to the Legislative Council; being 61 years of age. Sir William Russell is 75 years old Mr John Duthie 73, ajid Mr C. A. C. Hardy 70.
