CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE KING.

[press association.] WELLINGTON, April 15. At the request of the Prime Minister, the Governor cabled to King George on Saturday: "In behalt oi myself, the 'Government, and! the people of New Zealand, I desire to tender our respectful coitferatulationa on the safe arrival in Wellington of H.M.S. New Zealand." The following reply was received,: tel thank you and the people of New Zealand for their kind message, and them on the safe arrival of their fine ship.—George R. and I."
