Over a million and a half gallons of oil were brought to New Zealand),by the steamer Collingham, which arrived at Auckland on Thursday from New York direct after a passage of sixty-eight days. 'Of this quantity about 40,000 cases are to be landed at Auckland for distribution throughout the province. The oils brought by the steamer are made up as follows: 887,203 gallons of petroleum, 391,200 gallons of benzine, 268,810 gallons of naphtha, and 21,600 gallons of turps.
