Miss Eileen Connolly, who has been prominent in musi-cal circles in Blenheim, has decided to take up singing seriously, and left for "Wellington today, where she y.ill place herself under Sister Mary Ligouri at St. Mary's Convent. Her future movements will depend upon her success under the sister. It was of Miss Connolly's voice that Mr Philip Newbnry, the great tenor singer, said that it was a shame that such a siprious voice should be allowed to go to waste. Miss Connolly has the best wishes of her Blenheim friends for a successful career. ' ■■
