(Received Feb. 3, 9.35 pm ) N MELBOURNE, Fob. 3. A peculiar motor-car fatality occurred at Aspendale yesterday. Mrs Donald, wife- of Dr Donald of Warranackabeal, Nurse Ryan, Miss Culshaw, and Roy Parkinson were walking in company along the .road, when a motor-car dashed into them from behind. 1
Parkinson was knocked down and rendered unconscious.
Mrs Donald was dragged along for 30 yards and received internal injuries, from which she expired shortly afterwards.
The others were not injured. car continued on its way and struck a tree, the occupants (two men and two women) being thrown into the roadway. '.. (. Another car arrived and conveyed .these four to a private hospital in Melbourne. It is believed that they are not seriously injured. Their names were not discovered.
