A series of burglaries occurred at Feilding last night. About £1 was taken from the railway station, and unsuccessful., attempts were made witJh on axe to break into Carthew's stationery «hop and .Wells's grocery shop. A burglar entered Daragh's ] grocery shop and took about £2, and | loft an axe. A suspect is being i jW^tohed by the police. BEVERAGES SPECIALLY SUITED FOR HOLIDAY CONSUMPTION.
