CRICKET.
The adjourned annual meeting of the Wednesday Cricket Association, was held last evening, when the following were present: Messrs V. Claridge (chairman), E. Radd, A. E. Elliott, J. Steadman, R. Morrison, G. O'Neill, and J. J. O'Hallqran. Mr Claridge was re-elected chairman, arid Mr J. J. O'Halloran secretary for the current year. The following drawings for the first round of the competitions took place: Dec. 4th, Shamrock v. Blenheim; Deo. 11th, Blenheim v. Wairau '-"Hockey j Dec. 18th, Wairau Hockey v. Shamrock.
The following will represent the Shamrocks in their' match against Blenheim : —J. O'HaJloran, J. Hiokey 3 Walshe, M. Maher, R. MoiTison, G. Kolleher, G. Fitzgerald. L. Amos, P. Branton, J. O'Brien, G. O'Neill, T. Morrison, M. and A. O'Brien. The match will start &lvarp at 2.15 p.m.
The following will represent Wairan C. against Pieton sit Picton on Saturday: A. Wedde.,'Ji. Martin, G. Benning, J. Hufnphi"oys, h. McDermott, B. Ward, D. Rodger, I). Matthews, J. Johansen, C. Whjtwoll, an<l E. Reid: emergency, E. Ward. Tho charabanc will leave the Square at noon.
