PRINCE DARNLEY is rising fous years old; a beautiful bay, standing 17 hands, and! is a great mover. It has been recorded by competent judges that he is one of the best, ir not the best, horses yet' bred in the Dominion; but in addition to being well bred, he is a grand big stylish horse of great quality, and undoubtedly a true type of his Biro and grandsire. As a yearling he was first at Blenheim in 1909, as a two-year-old second at Maaterton in 1910, and as a three-year-old he was an easy first in the aged horses at Nelson in 1911, beating the great imported horse Merry Mornmg, also first in his class as a threo-year-old, and oarried away the champion ticket for the best stallion m the yard.
