Mr Varney Parkea declined to attend the'Royal Commission appointted to inquire into allegations against Mr Griffith.
Mr Parkes explains that the Commission was appointed to inquire as regards alleged corrupt practices,-* whereas his speech in tihe Agseinbly laid charges of reckless tion. He is desirous of attending the Commission to support "the latter charges.
