PEKIN, Nov. 4. The rebels captured "flic Kianguan •arsenal at Shanghai* Tiie Impenallist 'shells fired the whole of the native city of Hankow. Frring was- suspended to permit of ,tlie Red Cross steamer rescuing the wounded at' the \Vesleyaii Mission Hospital, but the rebel "batteries at Hanyang fired,' riddling the steamer's deckhouse, and she was unable to proceed. - It- is feared tiha* tihe Wesloyan Mission hnildings hnve been destroyed by the flames. Hanyang is now on fire. The .rebel battories shelled the Imperial1 forte near the British * Concession. A few shells fell in the Concession, damaging the houses. . FiicKting' is .reported at Changsiha. The."foreigners took,, refuge on the islaaS.
