SCHULTZ SENTENCED

[PHESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received Nov. 4, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 4. Schultz, who was accused of espionage at Plymouth, has been tried at Exeter and sentenced to 21 months* imprisonment in the second division.

Sir Rufus Isaacs, in prosecuting, told an amazing story of the devices to secure naval secrets.

The Chief Justice referred to the friendly relations between Germany and Great Britain, and stated that since no real harm had been done he had imposed a lighter sentence than the accused deserved.
