MISSING FROM RAI FALLS.
DISAPPEARANCE OF MRS EYES
A FATALITY FEARED
' [from otto correspondent.] HAVELOOK, Sept. 19. Mrs Septimus Eyes, of the accommodation house at Rai Falls, lett her house yesterday morning scantily attired, and has not returned. Constable O'Grady and a party made a thorough search'of the surrounding bush country, but without success it is feared that she may have fallen into the Pelorus River, which is in flood, and is running too rapidly for investigation. There was no further news at 10 o'clock this morning. .
From information received in Blenheim last evening it was learned that Mrs Eyes rose from her bed about; b o'clock yesterday morning. No one saw her * leave the house, and. no one saw her afterwards. bhe had not been in good health lately. Messrs Herbert Jones and C. Lane, brother and brother-in-law respectively, left Blenheim for Rai Falls yesterday on receipt of n?ws that Mrs Eyes was missing.
