£60,000 STOLEN.
[PBBM ASSOCIATION.] (Received Sept. 16, 0.50 p.m.) VANCOUVER, Sept. 15. A daring bank robbery ris reported at New Westminster.
Three armed robbers dug through a wall, blew up a safe and stole £60,000, and left £5000 strewn about the floors in notes and gold. A Chines© janitor who interrupted their work was sandbagged and tied to a chair. The men then made their escape. The bank is close to the police station.
