OPAWA B. (11) v. CENTRAL (0).

This game was played on No. 2 ground at the Show Grounds, and resulted in a good win for Opawa B. by 11 points to nil. The wearers of the black jerseys attacked from the kickoff, and Howell scored. O'Brien converted. Opawa attacked for the most part, but at times Central retaliated. However, at half-time there was no alteration to the score. On resuming Opawa kept up the pressure, and E. Wanden scored, but O'Brien failed to convert. Shortly after O'Brien placed a penalty goal, and the game ended with Opawa B. 11 and Central 0. Crombie and M. Wanden were the best of the Opawa backs, while Penny was the pick of the forwards. Tetley was the pick of the losing . forwards, while Simmond® and Pattie shone in the backs. Mr J. H. Priddle was referee.
