The anniversary tea. meeting in connection with the Methodist Sunday School -was held yesterday afternoon in Wesley Hall. A large number of parents and scholars attended, and full justice was done to the goodly number of delicacies provided. After the tea meeting an adjournment was made to the Church, where the function took the form of a welcome to the Rev. J. W. Oxbrow, and the Rev. Mr Bottomley, the Picton Home MissionaryAfter the opening with a hymn and prayer, the Rev. Mr Eichards, who rresided, apologised for the absence of the Yen: Archdeacon Grace, the Rev. W. 0 j '■■ Robb, and Adjutant Home. Lieut. Watkins was present. Mr E. H. Penny read the annual report of work done in the Church ■during the year just ended. The j Rev. Mr Richards introduced the rev. gentlemen, and Mr Jordan, in behalf of the Church, and Mr Oldliam, in behalf of the local Preachers' Union, extended welcomes. Then the Rev. Mr Richards called upon both gentlemen to acknowledge the hearty welcomes extended them, after which musical items were rendered by members of the choir.
