THE NEW PROGRAMME.
The weekly change of programme takes place to-night. The new budget contains some of the latest and most up-to-date films from the world's markets. The studies illustrating the beauties of Bernese Oberland and the renowned tourist resorts Marseilles and Algiers, are two fine specimens of the cinematographic art. A powerful and unique scene of a fight at sea between two warships is contained in a film entitled "Paul Jones," or "Stars and Stripes." "Pathe Gazette" contains interesting and instructive items from every part of the world. A highly amusing story is that entitled "Muggins, V.C.," and a pathetic drama is "A Modern Prodigal." A film that carries one back to the chivalrous days of old is "Princess and Peasant." Humorous pictures will also be presented." To-mor-row this fine series will be shown in Picton, and a return will be made to the Town Hall for Friday and Saturday evenings. The usual matmee takes place at 2.30 on Saturday.
