A RIOT DISPERSED

As a protest against the shooting, of two strikers a general strike has been ordered. The bulk of the work- • ers refused "to join. The newspapers are not being published. The' rioters attacked the trams 3 and the Republican Guard charged with drawn swords and dispersed the rioters.

Many arrests were madej including all the strike leaders. The- puWic are demonstrating in the streets against the strikers.
