PUTTING THE BAILIFF IN.
NEW PLYMOUTH, March 18
On Tuesday last several claims for wages went by default against the Standard Oil Company, whose headl--quarters are in Auckla&d. They had been drilling on Carrington Road for some time past. The bailiff has now been put in possession of the Company'si derrick and plant, which will be sold. The company has no connection with the Taranaki Petroleum Company.
