LONDON, March 14

Lord Brassey, presiding over the Associated Chambers of Commerce, said that this was a record period of prosperity, notably jit the export trade. The want of employment had, diminished. In seeking new markets they must look chiefly to the tropical countries. A resolution was. carried by an overwhelming majority against ratifying the Declaration of London in its present form, owing to the danger it offered to the food supply.
