BOWLING.

RIVERSDALE v. PICTON

Yesterday afternoon three rinks from the Riversdale Bowling Club journeyed to Picton in Mr W. Gate's motor charabanc to • try conclusions with the Picton Club. The green was in splendid order, and some excellent games resulted, Picton winning by 4 points on the afternoon's play. Following were the scores :-— Riversdal© (Holcroft) 21, Picton (Martin) 16. Riversdalo (Linstrom) 20, Pieton (Watson) 19. Riversdiale (Wemvss) 14, Picton (Smith) 24. The visitors were hospitably entertained by the members of the Picton Club, and enjoyable afternoon tea was dispensed by the ladies. Mr G. J. RiddelL in behalf of the Picton Club, expressed pleasure at seeing such a large number of players from the Riversdale Club, and at the excellent stand that the visitors had made. Mr R. C. Holcroft replied in behalf of the Riversdale members.
