A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
Tho ordinary monthly meeting of #lia A and P. Association, held at the Board room on Saturday, was atSH3 by Messrs J. G. Armstrong (Chairman), A. Mackay, G. Boyce, k McArtoey, W. D.-.Piko, l.Mwrnn, H. Lankow, F.,Redwood, J. S. Storey, B. J. Bell, and D'Arcy Chaytor. Mr Dick wrote asking for leave of absence for the meeting, which was granted.
THE STEWARDS?' ROOM
Mr Pike reported in behalf of the sob-committee appointed to arrange in reference to the supply of liquor to the committee-room -at the Show. He recommended a new arrangement for the room, so that 'the liquor room might be divided off from the mam -«ommittee-room, thus" rendering it absolutely private. It would be necessary to shift the telephone, so that it also might bo apart and private- The expenditure would be infinitesimal. ■ ■ ' Mr McArtney said that the matter was left to the secretary and'treasurer, and lie was satisfied with the arrangements made. He moved that--the report be adopted. It was to Mr Pike's credit, that he bent to the desire of the majority of the commitia?e. He would pledge himself to help ito carry out the arrangements in a proper manner. ■ Mr Lankow seconded, and the report was adopted.
QUIBELL CUP.
Messrs J. Reid (for Mrs Renwick) and J. B. Rayner (Mr Meehan) were appointed arbitrators to decide the of the awarding of tho JQuifcell Cup. The committee then -wont into the ■question, of appointing supervisors and stewards. '
