MELBOURNE, .-Sept. 23. In the Senate, Senator Ledger, in opposing the Northern Territory Bill, said that it had a pedigree.' It was by "Barter" out of that well-known Commonwealth mare "Folly," and should ibe named "Gold Bricks," which were the instruments of confidence men.
The third reading of the lßjll was carried by 19 to 9.
