•-♦ MR LARACY'S CAMPAIGN. [press association.] -• HASTINGS, June 17. Mr M. Laracy, secretary of the New Zealand Shearers' and Woolshed Employees' Association, now on his way south ,told a reporter that he had formed a _ branch at # Gisborne, the membership comprising seventy Maoris. These had unanimously resolved not to work for less than £1 and rations. v Mr Laracy states that after speaking to the shearers he is convinced that none in Hawke's Bay will engage for less, and ,added that it was unlikely that the employers would offer less. -
