Arrangements are now practically completed for the Dominion NoLicense Convention, to be held in Wellington on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. The following members of Parliament are expected to take part:—Messrs T. E. Taylor, E. H. Taylor, C. H. Poole, A. S. Malcolm, R. A. Wright, and H. G. Ell. The conference meetings will be held in St. John's Schoolroom, and public meetings on Wednesday and Thursday nights in the Town Hall.. The principal business at the conference meetings will be consideration of the negotiations carried on during last session with "the trade." There will be one session at which the representatives of twelve No- - License districts will testify to the successful working of No-License. ; At the Wednesday night public meeting Mr Wesley Spragge (Auckland) will preside, and Dr Henry and Mr T. E. Taylor, M.P., will give addr«sses. Oh Thursday night, the Rev. F. W. Chatterton (Gisborne Maori College) will take the chair, and the speakers will be Miss Sterling fMaori missionary), Rev. F. Bennett (Rotorua), Rev. R. S. Gray (Christchurch), and Rev. L. M. Isitt (Wellington). Mr and Mrs C. A. Potts and the United Mission Choir will take part. The Sunday following the convention will be observed by a great many Wellington churches as Temperance Sunday. Many of the ministerial delegates to the conference will preach from the various pulpits, and a # combined thanksgiving service will be held in the evening, in theI,Town Hall.
