Eastern Ward: William Benohi Parker, nominated by th© Spring Creek, Tua Marina, and Marlboroughtown School Committees;' Nominations close on Monday 4th. . July, and the election will be held on Monday, 25th July. No nomination* ' have so far been received for either of the vacancies in the Western Ward. Mrs McNiool, wife of ,the stationmaster at Blenheim, returned from' Picton yesterday, where she has been spending a holiday for the benefit of her health. •Arthur Wiffen and Company notify that they are prepared to make liberal advance agajinst wool and livof stock.
