Wednesday. On Monday night tlie Freemasons entertained their wives and friends at a small euchre party in the anteroom of the Masonic Lodge. After euchre ifihe time was pleasantly passed with music and dancing. A dainty supper was handed round. Constable Price, from the JTorth Island, aniH Mr William Price, of the s,s. Maraixaa, are visiting Havelock. Invitati©»s are out for the bachelors' ball at Maori Bay, Belorus .'Sound, for tft.e 9th June. I hear that many people are coming up from the Sounds and surrounding district to attend the hospital ball on Friday night. The Pictoa band members ..will Supply the music, and everything points to success.
