BARRY'S NEW TRAINER.

A FAST SCULLER AND A BOAT-

BUILDER.

[press association.] PERTH, June 1. A file of the London Sportsman, referring to Phelp's appointment as Barry's trainer, says: "He is considered the second fastest sculler in the United Kingdom, and the most successful coach we have. Another thing in his favor is his practical knowledge of hoat-building. The race will be decided where the inhabitants have not seen a sculling boat. Phelps's ability to repair any possible accident will give confidence to those in England."
