POSTAL HOLIDAY.

The King's Birthday, Friday, the 3rd_ June will be observed as a close holiday at all post offices. Mails usually closed throughout the day on Friday will be closed at 7.15 a.m.

There will be no delivery by the letter-carriers on Friday, but a delivery will be made over the public counter on Thursday evening between 7.30 and 8.30 o'clock.

Telegraph Office: Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission should be presented at the side entrance upstairs. Telephone Exchange: Open as usual.
