THAT FOOTPATH.

TO THE EDITOR

Sir, —What a pity your correspondent signing himself "Resident" fell asleep immediately he penned his letter, for otherwise I am certain he would not have allowed it to appear in your last evening's issue. That footpath received a coating Of screened gravel from Henry Street to Beaver Road on Monday and Tuesday last, so that the inconvenience previously caused was thus remedied. W. J. GIRLING.
