TOO MANY RABBITS.

CONGESTION IN THE MEAT

TRADE.

OVERCROWDED WORKS.

[press association.] (Received April- 27, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 27. As the outcome of the unprecedentedly favorable season the meat works are unable to find accommodation for all the meat coming forward. Complaints are made of the shortage of tonnage, and that refrigerated space is almost unobtainable.

The congestion is attributed to the large arrivals of rabbits. At the-^re-sent time there are between three and four million rabbits stored in Sydney.
