Open to all bona fide members of Marlborough Hockey Clubs. Competitors to run in hockey costume (spiked' running shoes barred). Entrance, 2s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations (with money enclosed} for events numbered 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 ; 11, 12, and 1-7 will be received by the Secretary at Messrs Griffiths and Son's Office, High Street, Blenheim, until WEDNESDAY, the 6th day of April, 1910, at 9 p.m. I Handicaps declared on or about 11th April, 1910. Acceptances close with the Secretary at 9 p.m. on SATURDAY, the 16th April, 1910. All entries must be made on the forms of the N.Z.A.U., or the League of New, Zealand Wheelmen, which r may be obtained on application to the Secretary. ' Letters or telegrams bearing date of nomination or acceptance will be accepted, but any entry made by wire must be confirmed according to the rules of the above bodies before the competitor can be handicapped^ Nominators must send in their last two years' performances (private matches included), and if they have not competed- within that time they must send in their last four performances. All Cycling events will be conducted under the rules of the N.Z. League of Wheelmen. Any race may be run off in heats at the discretion of the Committee. The Committee reserve the right to have any competitor re-handicapped after publication of handicaps. All athletic events will be conducted under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Union, and competitors' attention is especially drawn to Rule 15 of the Constitution and 13 of Regulations, i.e., "That every competitor must be registered ana entry fees paid before competing, otherwise he is liable to disqualification, and will receive no prizemoney." The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, before or after the events, to make a declaration as to his identity or the correctness of his performances, and may require him to prove his identity further than by declaration should they think fit to do so. The programme may be altered o* the sports postponed if necessary. The Committee reserve the right to alter or amend the programme should anything arise to justify them in doing so. A. J.
