NAPIER, Feb. 3. The master tailors are applying for a new award. The old one expired an 1908 but continues in operation till a new one is made. The masters do not desire to reduce wages, but wish to have a separate district formed for ]Taw e, s. Bay > as conditions suitable to Wellington are not suitable further north. The masters also wish to .increase the number of apprentices.
