WOOL-BUYERS REFUSE TO ABOLISH IT.

An important meeting of wool-buy-ers unanimously rejected the suggestion of the Colonial wool importers' committee to abolish the draft allowance of one |)ound per hundredweight, considering that aholition would lead to serious trouble throughout the trade.
