SMOKING IN A MINE.
EXPLOSION KILLS 68 MEN
[press association.] ■ (Received iFeb. 4, 9.15 a.m.) MEXICO, Feb. 3. A miner smoking a cigarette caused an explosion in a coal mine at Las Esperandos, Mexico.
Sixty-eight men were killed and 50 injured.
The miners .were mostly Japanese and Mexicans.
