CAUSE OF THE DIFFICULTY,
[press association.] (Received Feb. 4, 1.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 3. A receiver has. been appointed in T^ew Jersey for the Mexican National Packing Company. The liabilities amount to £7,000,000. This step was rendered ' necessary owing to the temporary tying-up of maxiy ;of the company's resources through the recent suspension of the United States Banking Company, in Mexico City. The Packing Company will continue business. /Its btnids, stocks, and debts are mostly held in England.
