ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

DICK—MILLARD. On December 29th, at St. Luke's Church, Marlboroughtown, by the Rev. W. Wollstein, Mr Joseph Henrj Dick, fourth son of Mr W. Dick, Tua Marina, was married tos-- Miss Pearl T«£illa rd, second daughter of Mr Walter Millard, of Grovetown. The bride, who was given away by her father, was dressed in cream silk chiffon taffeta, trimmed with silk insertion and tucked net, and made in Empire styl&. She wore a veil and orange blossom, and carried a bouquet of heliotrope and white sweet peas. The bridesmaids were Miss Frances Millard, sister of the bride, and Miss Isa Dick, sister of the bridegroom. They were dressed in cream delaine, trimmed with silk insertion and silk overall lace, and wore pale green silk straw hats, trimmed with chiffon and chiffon streamers; with pale green belts to match the hats. Their bouquets,were of pale pink and white sweet peas. The best man was Mr A. W. Barker, and Mr C. Eden acted m the capacity of groomsman. The bride s present to the bridegroom was a set of gold initialled sleeve links, and the groom's to the bride a silvermounted lady's companion- The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were gold initialled rings. He also presented the. best man and i groomsman with silver -.'mounted ]> smoking sets. After the wedding i ceremony a reception was held in the I brovetown Hall, which was kindly *n ST nhe °, cs?sion by Mr Brown, of Bythell and Co., and in the evening the guests were entertained at a dance. BARKER—GODSIFF. The marriage of Miss Maud Godsiff: daughter of Mrs E. Godsiff, of Manama, to Mr Arthur W. Barker, stir of Mr E. Barker, late of Wairau Valley, took place at the residence of the brides mother.on Monday, the Rev, « Ri? hard, s > of Blenheim, being the officiating clergyman. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Geo. godsiff, and was attended by Miss E Henderson and her sister, Miss Heather Godsiff- while the bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr Percy Barker.
