A MAN DROWNED

BRISBANE, Jan. 3. A sailing-boat overturned off Peel Island on Friday morning. The crew of four clung to the bottom and drifted for 18 hours. Three landed greatly exhausted; the fourth, named P.etterson, was drowned after clin°-. i»g to the boat for 14 hours.
