AN ACID OUTRAGE
(Received Jan. 3, 10:50 a.m ) LONDON, Jan. 2. Mr John Burns is making an m\precedentedly strenuous fight. He declares that he intends to visit every .louse m his constituency before polling day.
A suffragette threw a quantity of acid and damaged the canvassing cards in Mr Burns's committee room injuring a clerk in the hands and eye; she then rushed out and; escaped on a bicycle. ,
