Scratched: Tepuki, Favorite, Wharekoa, Rapu, Ecliptic, Puanga, Lady Linton, Needlemaid, Konowai, Mungatete, Sunrose, Captain Royal, Patron, True Shot. Won by a head. Time, 51sec. Spring Handicap: Sir 'Frisco 1, Wee Trinket 2, Iranui 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, 2min 21 l-ssec.
Rangitikei Steeplechase: Mocassin 1, Chief 2, Lovell 3. Scratched: Rib Atu. Won easily. Time, 6min 6 4-5 sec.
Rangitoto Hack: Milan 1, First Consul 2, ,Te Roti 3. Nine others started. Won by a length. The totalisator takings were £5184. Ayres, who was hurt in. the first race, has recovered. F. Flynn was injured by Lingerer falling in the Steeplechase, and suffered a. good deal.
