FROM BLENHEIM

Opawaj for Wellington, this day. (See advt.). < ? Blenheim/for Wellington, Friday, at 5 p.m. - ;

The Alexander Was to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for the Coast with chaff. The Arahura arrived from the West Coast at 3.10 p.m.1 yesterday, and after loading, sailed at 4,15 p.m. for Wellington. '''..'■' The Takapuna got" away from Picton at 10 p.m. yesterday in continuation of her trip from Wellington xo Nelson.

The Rosamond arrived from New Plymouth and Ohehunga via Nelson at 5.40 p.m. yesterday, and after taking in a large quantity of cargo, sailed for Wellington at 2 a.m. to-day. The Opawa arrived off the bar- at daylight this morning and stuck on the narrow spit running across the channel under the lee of the Boulderbank. The ' wire hawser was made fast to the mooring recently put down on the Boulderbank by Capt. Eckford, and the vessel hove herself in over the obstruction. As there is no snow on the back ranges at present, there does not seem to be any likelihood of another flood in the river for some time to scour the channel out, and further trouble at the bar is anticipated.
